I hesitate to tell a theist what prayer consists of for the same reason I don't like theists telling me what my non-belief entails. Guess I just prefer to leave the blow-hardery to those with the greatest experience.

It's OK though to point out stuff from their sacred, inerrant, literally 100% true and inviolate scriptures if they clearly aren't doing it right.

I'm sure they appreciate the heads up, after all, they have a frightfully persnickety God, just ask Ananias and Sapphira.

Who cares?  I found it entertaining.  They can use the closets vacated by the homos to do their praying in.

Well, I realize a non-existent God isn't going to smote them for praying incorrectly, but some of their fellow followers are going to take a dim view of apostasy and will at some point feel compelled to make a point.  They can't be too careful.

I agree. I'm happy to listen to each theist's individual beliefs in detail before I start pointing and laughing. Hard to know when they've finished sometimes though, so it's polite to ask.
