Even if wallym is a sociopath, you would still need to attack his arguments, not him. Even if his logic is cold in your eyes, it may be correct. Specially since he has no emotional connection.
I am just saying... Not supporting wallym. I havent read what he has posted actually.

His argument is what? That morality is subjective?
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Not having an emotional connection doesn't make him more likely to be correct on an issue where the emotional components are key.

I believe we should be letting in an extremely limited number of Syrian refugees, and they should be made to return once things settle down a bit. They should also be monitored to make sure they are integrating into local culture for the duration of their stay like they do with those seeking citizenship in Switzerland since you mentioned that country.
Any refugee that is caught committing a crime should be deported right back to Syria and banned from entering the UK for life.
Well, according to most people in this forum, you would be no different from me.
You said "accepting a extremely limited number of refugees". What about the rest you are excluding? They also deserve to live.
1. I said no such thing
2. speak for yourself
3. no one was arguing there lives don't matter

If that's the case, I can't really make the argument that morality is objective without bringing God into the picture. So I'll leave it to others to debate his argument in a secular/philosophical way.

It's blissfully easy to make the case from practical self interest, lol. Morality need not apply, subjective or otherwise.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

You could pretend. What do you think a world without God would look like?

You having an opinion on things you admittedly don't know much about seems to be a pattern.
