New game! I call it 'Let's Ask Alex!' The idea is to ask Alex idiotic questions that any loon could answer.
I'll start. 'But Alex, what is a banana?'
Boru
Excellent question, Boru. I am afraid that I cannot directly answer this question for I am but a lowly platonian cave-dweller marvelling at the shadows of what undoubtedly is the very essence of bananity that shall be hidden forever from me, who will not escape the cave and climb the peaks of ontological clarity, because I am already in my pajamas. I therefore can only offer several humble perspectives on the phenomenon banana, which taken jointly may lead you to a synthesis summarizing the expérience bananique de l'homme or conversely plantain seeds of doubt concerning its true nature. As a first glimpse into the abyss that is the essence of banana, let me invoke the leading thinkers on this topic.

Right, well if you go back over my posts in this thread you'll see that I've made it quite clear that I appreciate both sides. You've just picked out one post out of many here and are representing my whole position with it. I've tried to explain that, and I've acknowledged your point already, so you're just repeating yourself. I'll be dropping this now. I've made my position on this clear on the forum many times. There's two main usages, but I'm not always talking about them both every time. It depends on context.

my 2 cents is that when an OP starts a thread..folks answer and don't drag the shit out of the OP's opinion..
then it would become a 1 man's thread..right?or not right?

Yeah, I was simply responding to the one post in particular because it was strongly worded. Didn't mean to annoy you so.

Every so often I feel the need to reionize my electrons and get in tune with my inner self.

Whenever I hear the term spiritualism being discussed as a vague open ended term, I can't help but think of that site.

For anyone that is curious, there is also another bot.
See if you can tell the difference between Deepak and a bot designed to spew nonsense!

Where the internet can lead to? That's just where english can lead to, where communication in any language can lead to? If you say "everything" that includes alot of stuff. I take it indigestion and kidney stones aren't included.....but why not? You either mean "everything you feel inside"........ or you don't. If some shitty shit that you don't wan't included is included that's on -you-, not me, not the internet. -You- didn't think it through.

You didn't annoy me Parkers, you just confused me with the nature of your response.

When someone starts a thread on something, I think it's perfectly reasonable to ask them what they are talking about. And when they bring up some other notion as part of it (souls) it's perfectly reasonable to ask them what they mean by that, too.
If you don't want to discuss something, best not make a thread about it. If you struggle to define your own terms, that's not our fault. Maybe we've provided you something to think on.
