Rimmer is one of the best characters ever in anything ever and my absolute favorite character in Red Dwarf.

I absolutely love seasons 1-6 to death. The first episode of season 7, Tikka To Ride is a smart episode but generally speaking the first 6 series are the absolute best because they ha Rob Grant doing the writing along with Doug Naylor and Rob Grant is the true genius behind Red Dwarf writing. If you've read a Rob Grant novel you'll realize how fucking awesome he is.

There are many many Rimmer quotes that are my favorite. But generally speaking Rimmer works best in context.
