In religion the care of the spirit is all but a theory (an abstract feeling) while in spirituality is all about practice that eventually lead to union with God.
It is like thinking to plan to find the gold and actually do something to get it out the soil (subconscious mind).
Yeah, no, you're full of shit here. There are practicing religious and theoretical spiritualists. The distinction you make doesn't exist. Moreover you're simply assuming that what you do is "right practice" whereas what they do isn't. That's just being biased. How do you know that what the religious do isn't "right practice?" You don't. You're just assuming the high ground. Anybody can make an assumption. Assuming that you're doing the right thing and they're not is not providing any reason to believe you. Anyone can just assume.
1) I don't?
Wrong again yog in fact I do know very well indeed.
When you try to think about something or to find a solution to your problems you look within not at the stars.
It is within where the knowledge lie.
Outside there is mainly a lot of illusion.
Any researcher when he-she try to discover something look within and even if he look outside that knowledge still come from someone who previously look within.
You can not go wrong with that.
The routine is the same.
The knowledge only come from within that is why spirituality is a search within unlike religions which search outside.
Religions worship idols, effigy, statues and pray God for the daily bread.
In spirituality all this is totally off.
Once you understand that the real knowledge is within there is no point in wasting the time in external exercises that not only lead nowhere but are also ruining the already acquired knowledge.
Putting religions and spirituality on the same level is unfounded.
2) Any positive remarks for offering the other cheek after your offensive language?

The poll was about whether people here have an idea in the positive or negative about God draw from what religions say.
Nothing to do with whether God exist or not.
Everybody already know your disbelieve for God so your post is totally off track.

There got to be a teacher Fat.
Every type of knowledge require a teacher.
Without a teacher is next to impossible to get there.
So the job of a teacher is to explain how to get there therefore there got to be a system in place.
A system doesn't mean that you follow a religion.
When you got your degree didn't you follow a system Fat?
Was you system a religion?
You never thought about that Fat, did you?
By the way spirituality does not follow rituals nor external worship like a religion.

You wouldn't even know the names of those entities let alone their teachings had they not been codified into a religion for you to follow. That is the dictionary definition of religion.
The fact is that you did not come up with it on your own, nor was it revealed to you by any "god". You follow a religion, sorry if that makes you uncomfortable but we have to speak to each other with words that have meaning and that everyone understands or else language has no meaning at all. You are a religious person.
Wrong.
Tantra is not a religion and yet from it you can know what Shiva, Krishna, Buddha, Christ and other were doing.
Tantra is pure spirituality and by practicing Tantra the knowledge within come to the surface.
When the student is ready the teacher will appear and this teacher will provide you with a system that
eventually will lead you to know how the system works.
You don't need religious books to know how the system works.
In fact by following religious book you are put off track in no time.
