Trump claims largest ever crowd for inaugeration

Lol. You didn't watch the press conference did you. The press conference was called specifically to comment on the inauguration. The dude made a specific comment directly addressing the media's coverage and reporting about the numbers of people there. There is no way on earth anyone who actually saw the press conference could call that an offhand comment.

Also, let's dispense with the idea that anything bad that Trump's administration does cannot be called the responsibility of Donald J. Trump. I've spent 8 years listening to the same stuff on the other side.

So yeah, don't try and blame it on the press secretary, it's clear Trump told him what to say.

Did you actually watch the news conference?  It was't offhanded. He claimed the media was misrepresenting the numbers, and claimed the new administration would "hold the media accountable". How is that offhanded?

It was a serious contention, backed up with a threat.

Curiously, is there any real statistics on the attendance of the inaugeration?

Nuh-uh KellyAnne. Answer the fucking question or at the very least acknowledge the fact that you spoke out of your ass.

RE: Trump claims largest ever crowd for inaugeration
This whole dust-up over inauguration numbers strikes me as more than a little Orwellian. Trump (according to his own people) was 'enraged' at coverage of the size of his inauguration crowd, so he sent his newly-minted press rep (in a markedly ill-fitting suit, btw) out to lecture journalists on what they should and should not be covering, and was helpful enough to provide them with the false facts that the administration wanted them to have. If the lie is repeated often enough and forcefully enough, it becomes the officially sanctioned narrative and, thus, the 'truth'.

I spoke out of my ass.

Now, is saying that is was the largest attending inugeration actually demonstrably incorrect at this point?

I've been withholding comment on this thread until this. I 100% agree. If a member of your staff is out of line, it is absolutely your responsibility as their boss in any job to correct them in some way. If it's a serious offense, fire them. If it's less serious (which is how I see this) then at least speak up about it so they don't seem to be speaking for you. Otherwise I don't see the problem with assuming you support them by allowing them to continue.

I don't why you guys are surprised trump could walk out on the white house lawn draped in a cloak of human skin. pledge his allegiance to Putin . knife a nun  and burn a children's hospital down.  While quoting hitler speeches then demand the first child of ever household be placed in bondage to him. While masturbating to human sacrifice. And then have a puppy for dinner .And canofmountaindew ,Pool, A Theist ,Reptile, and the rest of the asserted trump fan boys would cry fake news or whatever other lame excuse they need to maintain the delusion trumps a good president.

Demonstrably, yes.
