Hot sauces, spices and foods

The spicier, the better...even if my bum is screaming later.

Personally I love spicy food, chips and salsa is my jam! I have fallen in love with Barcel Habanero and lime chips. I'll eat most anything spicy. Except wasabi, I don't like the flavor.

I eat sushi a couple times a week, and it must have soy sauce, ginger, and wasabi. Good stuff!

Do you put a blob of wasabi on the sushi/ginger, or do you mix up a bunch of wasabi in the soy sauce and then dip the soosh/gender in there?

RE: Hot sauces, spices and foods
I like foods that are not screaming hot, too hot and I get the hiccups, strange right. I love the taste of hot peppers and the flavors they impart to other foods. I love Mexican foods of all kinds and I find it funny that so many people believe all Mexican is hot. Some of the best Mexican food I had had no heat.
It's my understanding that those who can handle the hottest of spices have less taste buds. I also understand that the hotter the peppers the more addictive they are, just things I've heard on cooking shows. Let's keep those good dishes with whatever heat each can enjoy coming.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Blob of wasabi on the sushi, then ginger on top of that. Soy sauce from a packet added any old time (I buy my sushi from a supermarket). Though what you said reminded me, I used to watch a lot of J-vloggers on YouTube (Anglos and others who have settled in Japan and vlog about any aspect of it). A lot of them mix the wasabi with the soy sauce. Good wasy of doing it, really.

Ooh I had a bad experience with some Ralph's soosh. Terrible, bad poops. I never chance it with supermarket sushi anymore.

But I loves me some sushi. I always mix it the wasabi with the soy sauce. I dip the ginger petal in the soy/wasabi, put it on the soosh, then dip the soosh. It's a production.

Only issue I've had is the sushi falling apart at times with the new contractor at Ralphs, which is my main grocery dive.

I used to hit up the one in Bay Terraces when I lived in Chula Vista. That was the offending establishment what rooned my bowels.

Ah, OK. I live in Hillcrest, San Diego. Not sure if its a different contractor.

How do you all feel about gochujang? It's a korean paste. I don't like it on its own, but mixed with sugar and soy sauce, it is quite lovely.
