Your understanding of the concept of Freedom of Speech is underwhelming.

That's just a more complicated way of saying "go fuck yourself" lol

I'm glad this thread wasn't title "Here's an idea!"

I don't respond well to being called a lowlife.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Who cares if you don't like the rule? Just follow it anyway, it's not that hard lol.

*sigh* Atheists....

Wink
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Threads like this make it feel like EP is still around. Thanks for keeping his memory alive.

But really, the rule change is fine as it is. I don't see what the fuss is all about.

We lost one of our oldest members because of a pointless rule that no one was asking for. I find that disturbing. I'm hoping the situation could be revised.

There is your problem. You are willing to rollback a rule because 1 member left the forum and by all means his own accord. Nobody told him to go.

I was the one that delivered the message to Min about the rule. To be honest, I am a bit harsh on the delivery.

Yet your contention to the rule is because it was Min? I am sure that old fuck will return in time. It is low reasoning though.

This issue was discussed, we didn't institute the rule to eff with members, the idea is to enhance the experience of being here.
We're just asking for a little thought and care in crafting titles on threads.

If someone is making a new topic, the title is your invitation for others to come in to your thread and participate. It is to the posters and the readers benefit that the title be construed as an accurate invitation to come in and interact with the person opening the topic and the others who have shared their ideas on the topic.

It's why we're here . . . .
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
