RE: Do not watch the movie, "The Arrival" because it is pro-life propaganda.

I thought it was a great movie.
I disagree that it is pro-life propoganda....she made a choice, and one of the other main characters doesn't even agree with it. Trying not t make this spoilery.
It's mostly hard-ish sci-fi (for Hollywood), with a side of drama. I'd tell people to see it and make their own choice. Personally, I'd give it a 8.5/10, maybe even a 9.

Even if it is "pro-life propaganda" that wouldn't stop me watching it. I can think for myself so I'm not afraid of being brainwashed. I'll never stop being pro-choice because there's no piece of evidence capable of making me think that the adult mother's well being isn't priority over an unborn fetus.

All this is, is would you chose to have a child that will die AS A YOUNG ADULT? Well, all our kids will die eventually. If we could see the future, all of us might make different choices. Ironically, I personally see this as showing determinism. The future is already written, she never made a choice, just followed the path she now knew she was destined to take.
Some pro-life sites do seem to be grabbing onto the theme as pro-life, but that just proves they will grab onto anything to advance their stupid agenda. It has nothing to do with unwanted babies, kids with disabilities, or babies who endanger moms life by being born. The child lives a fairly long (what, about 20 or so?), healthy, normal and happy life. Why WOULDN'T she choose that? And also, again, did she choose, or did she just take her predestined path?
