Fundamental Arrogance in Christianity

I agree that the catholic church and many protestant churches became arrogant and domineering in the US. Much of this can be attributed to their majority status in the population. If there is any good that comes from the decline of the christian churches in America, it will be a change in their outlook in this regard. It's my hope and prayer that the church could return to the model of the earliest christian churches, in which people were attracted to them because they saw the love they reflected in their daily lives. They lived the christian life and grew like crazy with no threats or coercion.

That sounds, to me, like the sort of revisionism those arrogant domineering churches you're mentioning have been peddling.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Revisionism? I'm just stating my opinion from observation.

-and here I thought you were making some comment on the factual history of the growth and impetus behind early jesusism. What did you observe to form those opinions, other than revisionist history peddled by the very organizations you just derided? Since we'd have to completely omit any actual history of the faith in question...we could take the hilarious step of considering paul to be...somehow..historical, and we'd still be left with a long running "the rest of you motherfuckers are doing it wrong" screed. At what point in the history, legend, or myth (take your pick from any category) of jesusism has it been anything -other- than arrogant and domineering churches?

To what model of church could you possibly be referring? What golden age, specifically, do you long to return to?

My opinion was about the recent behavior of churches in the US and how they should go back to the ways of the early church. My observation was of the fact of the growth of the early church in an environment in which they were a small minority.

Which facts?  All I saw above was, again, propaganda spread by one of those arrogant, domineering churches. What early christian church model, in your opinion, fits the bill above?

Would this be before or after the invention of trinitarianism?

Let me talk more simple.

If you want proof GPS works, You must learn to follow the lady's voice commands. Can't go where you want and assume it is the GPS' fault when you fail to arrive.

The bible is a simple set of instructions, where the philosphy your trying to apply fails is your trying to impose that first one must believe. Not the case. One must simply follow the instructions provided. or so was the example of doubting Thomas.
Bad example.  We know GPS exists.
