Some are complaining about the cost of the tomahawk missiles and now this MOAB. It's not like these were ordered up specifically for these strikes. They already existed. It's almost like spending a lot of money on fireworks, and then not firing them off because they are so expensive or people complain you are wasting money by lighting them.

The MOABs weren't used in Operation Iraqi Freedom because there were no appropriate targets located in time to use them before the opposition collapsed.

This could be an interesting connection.

I realize you can help it, but trying not being stupid, scooby.

Such things are kept in inventory. Inventory has to be replaced.

In addition, let's apply logic to nukes. No big deal if we set 'em off, they're paid for, amirite?

Also, you forget - conveniently - that cost is only one aspect that is disagreed with.

So your solution is to never use any of the inventory of weapons we have then? Kind of like my fireworks analogy? haha, you sound fairly stupid with that reply. And really I see it as just another example of Trump derangement syndrome on the left when making a big deal about the cost. Plus the MOAB is old technology which is why it's public. The ones they don't tell you about will be public in about a decade or so. Something people don't understand about the massive costs is that a portion of the costs go into black budget programs.

I have complete fail that Wikileaks likes to tell good stories.

However, if we knew about them why didn't we target them sooner?

Then I remembered the delivery system is a cargo plane and decided that wouldn't be anybody's first choice for a preemptive strike.

Which pretty much lets out using them anywhere that has any air defenses at all.  Well, fuck.  We're happiest when bombing people who can't shoot back anyway.

Gets the chest-thumpers all hard and tingly!

Seen elsewhere in the Internets ...

"The US can spend $314 million on a bomb in the ME, but can't afford lead free drinking water for its citizens."

You are a victim of a disinformation campaign and psychological warfare. After Hillary Clinton lost and the left woke up, they started calling it fake news. Been going on for centuries but it's funny to watch the lefty pro central government planners supporters wake up finally or still fail to see the propaganda. It's very easy to spot those who repeat talking points as they are generally the ones who think they are smart for reporting the news lol. The hard part is breaking through their conditioning because they are the ones in a trance and on the mental plantation of the controlled narrative of the establishment. The ironic part is that it tends to be leftists who are on the plantation of the corporate culture while conservatives have actually become the counter culture.

All you have to do is a little research...

One MOAB costs about $170,000, an Air Force representative said Friday. The Air Force has not confirmed the development costs associated with the larger weapons system.

Doesn't matter what the cost. It was a needless stunt. Just like the WLB cutting the Meals On Wheels program or some of his people saying children who can't afford to buy lunches in school should go hungry. How is any of what he or his administration done "making america great"?

Here's a clue:

Again citing fake news and suffering from Trump Derangement Syndrome! The whole WLB is just another leftist projection of who they are; Whiny little bitches! Meals on wheels will remain, school children will not go hungry, and if you have not been paying attention to the financial news, he is making America great again. Consumer confidence is up, small business confindence is up, hiring is up, unemployment is going down, the national debt is going down. The progressives who really want to keep the poor down in order to control them is losing because as we all know a rising tide raises all ships, and you are about to see a resurgence of business which will hire people, and raise wages to keep talent and increase prosperity which will lead to the decrease of inequality. It's one thing the left doesn't understand, business. A major reason I and others have left the left.
