Is there any evidence we dont live on in some way after death
RE: Is there any evidence we dont live on in some way after death
Here is a big difference between this and religious forums. Atheists in religious forums are banned on sight, we however, give a chance for anyone with half a mind to join the community.

This guy didn't try that hard. Oh well, GJ staff team Great

The reason why we think you are a closet Christian is normally people who are inclined towards ignorance and stupidity don't get as stupid as you without standing on the shoulders of the giants Christian idiocy from all of it's entire lamentable 2000 years.
No, you are not a comedian. People laugh with a comedian. We laugh at you.

And yet, 12 pages of paying the now banned author and alleged laughable closet Christians speaks for itself, about us. Imagine the laugh they're getting.

Radical oppressive church? I submit I have never been oppressed here. I have had my home picketed and threatening letters sent to me by "love thy neighbour" Christians however.

I also doubt any Muslim would seriously consider having me in their midst, either, as the Quran, like the Bible, says to slay all the heathens. I truly fear a day when the Fundamentalist Elect are able to grind the work of Jefferson, Adams and Madison (the Constitution) under feet in the name of "saving America" while upholding the very Constitution they despise.

CS Lewis's Christian quotes get slung around a lot on this forum. I will quote him too: "When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in the Flag and carrying the Cross." (from "It Can't Happen Here")

I feel that your postings come perilously close to the rants of Christian Fundamentalists because I have heard the same in real life. I have received the same in letters, and in E-mail. I would submit they have much more in common with Muslim fundamentalists than anyone here does. I only hope that you are just having us on; that it is nothing more than playing "Devil's Advocate" for the Fundamentalist Elect. (That's a novel idea.)

It's fun to shit on them and their silly-ass god, though.

It is, but I do wish we could boot the fuckers sooner. That one was an asshat, pure and simple.

I never understood that term, "asshat." I just can't picture putting a hat on my ass.

What seems so sad to me about Xonage is that he could not even admit that he was a Christian. I haven't seen anyone here get pilloried for what they believe, only for spouting foolishness. If he could not even represent himself as what he was, why should anyone else believe anything else he said? Something to do with hiding your light under bushel baskets. . . .

"Asshat" is a circumlocution of "asshole" that allows one to bypass verbal filters. It has come into its own these days, as it is colorful and a bit different. Call it the arugula of profanity for the present.

I'm not sure he was. I think he was just his own special breed of douchebag.

You should get extra credit points on your vocabulary score for this.
