Anders Behring Breivik Manifesto

So what's with the Knights Templar uniform? Oh, let me guess, it was a false flag operation, right?

Also, one of his psuedonyms were "Sigurd the Crusader".

Wikipedia Wrote:In the manifesto, Breivik considers himself "a real European hero", "the savior of Christianity" and "the greatest defender of cultural-conservatism in Europe since 1950".[86] Breivik wanted to see European policies on multiculturalism more similar to those of Japan and South Korea, which he said are “not far from cultural conservatism and nationalism at its best”.[14]

Wikipedia Wrote:During interrogation, Breivik claimed membership in an "international Christian military order" that "fights" against "Islamic suppression". This order allegedly is called the "Knights Templar" and, according to his manifesto, has between fifteen and eighty "ordinated knights" besides an unknown number of "civilian members".[90]

Wikipedia Wrote:On his Facebook profile, Breivik describes himself as a Christian.[13] He states that he chose to be baptised into the Protestant Church of Norway at the age of 15 although he later became disenchanted with Norway's State Church, supporting “an indirect collective conversion of the Protestant church back to the Catholic” in an online post in 2009.[15]
Breivik condemns Pope Benedict XVI, for his dialogue with Islam: “Pope Benedict has abandoned Christianity and all Christian Europeans and is to be considered a cowardly, incompetent, corrupt and illegitimate Pope.” It will thus be necessary, writes Breivik, to overthrow the Protestant and Catholic hierarchies, after which a “Great Christian Congress” would set up a new European Church.[91]

I think it's pretty safe to say you are either a liar, or horribly misinformed.

His Facebook page that no longer exists? Seriously? That's your evidence he was a Christian? So let's get this straight, he was a Christian who bashed Christianity, belonged to no church, and supported Paganism? That makes a lot of sense, just admit it, you are trying to capitalize on a tragedy. I think it is disgusting.

There' actually evidence that somebody altered his Facebook page and added those terms, so you will have to do better finding evidence.

I was just calling you on the fact you were trying to use a tragedy for political gain, which is disgusting.

Wearing a uniform does not make you a Christian. Wikipedia is not a a reliable source, and his facebook page was altered after the shootings. You guys are really reaching on this one, it's sad but not surprising.

Statler, I feel no shame in remarking that no faithhead had joined this thread, until your contribution. Fuck you!

Ah the old 'wikipedia is not a reliable source' line. What about all the sources of the source then (which are clearly labelled and sourced btwWink)? Are they just immediately not reliable because you say so too?

Of course, of course. I'm sure he's "Not a true Christian"

You are desperate & grabbing at straws. I suppose that he also changed his manifesto after he was already in custody as well then? Nice try. Face it, the monster self-identified as a Christian. There is no amount of your lying or crying that is going to change that.

Why should Christians have posted in this thread? I only posted on it because I saw you were calling the guy a Christian which was based on an erroneous report that was corrected last night by both FNC and CNN. I just don't like the fact you were so eager to tie this guy to a religion rather than admitting it was just a terrible tragedy.

You have not provided any evidence he was a Christian, besides a uniform and a fake facebook page. His manifesto? The same manifesto he bashed Protestants in and supported Paganism in? There is no evidence he was a Christian, nice try though.

Statler,
this is an atrocity done by a believer out of hatred for another religion. That's why I thought faithheads like you would like to condemn it unequivocably.

Well now you are making more sense, although I am not sure what "a believer" means, he obviously did not believe in the teachings of Christ. Yes, I absolutely agree with you. Whether he was a Christian, Muslim, Atheist, or anything else, what he did was absolutely wrong and evil. I just didn't like you labeling him as Christian when there really was no conclusive evidence as to what he was. I apologize if I jumped on you too harshly. Ok?
