Gazorpazorp.
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?

I don't know about planet nine.
But I would suggest naming planet 27 "Yahweh".
The planet, like its namesake, likely don't exist.

IIRC, on Space:1999 the outer most planet was named Ultra.

In an old gray Isaac Asimov story, an interstellar survey team was sent out (one of many) looking to follow up on previous surveys. When this particular team reached the Sirius planetary system, they discovered that the previous survey team had missed the fact that there were more planets. That team had simply numbered them from 1 to (whatever the number of the outermost planet was). It turned out that the previous team had missed the innermost planet. Now, the captain of the ship was allowed to name said planet. If you've read any Asimov, you will know what a punster he was. The captain named that planet Nothing Sirius.

Is Betelgeuse already taken? I'm not sure if Douglas Adams made it up or was just using it creatively.

It's a star in Orion.
I had to look this up. I love astronomy but am no expert.

Well, not a planet, but still a celestial thing...ah, well. Beeblebrox? I mean, I feel at least SOMETHING from Adams' body of work should get the honor.

If we're borrowing from Adams it would have to be Magrathea.
Though I have to admit Vogon has a particular ring.....

Maybe NASA or whoever could just do an online poll.
