How Much of a Nazi is the Pope?

Shielding pedopriests should be sufficient for our needs.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
I don't know. I think pope Francis is actually a step forward for the church. He could well lead the Catholic Church to a new threshold for helping to improve humanity as a whole. Or not. Most likely not. But the prior kinda has that sitcom sound that you could snuggle in with a blanket and watch with a cup of hot chocolate.
If you compare him to the previous guy.....Herr Von Popenfuhrer.... he's not as bad.
Yeah to most Catholics Pope is not Nazi enough.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
