What would you do if you found out God existed

Turns out, they wouldn't..and didn't....except for the nutballs, ofc.  Today, those people strap explosive vests on and christers get all hot and bothered about it.  Saint Blandina, you say?  How many times around the cathedral did she fly?

They had no cathedrals back then.

One has to take note of the difference between christianity when it was not and was a state religion. As soon as it turned into a state religion, real christians run into the desert, to keep up the flame.

As I said it is something different You think it is. And the God You do not believe in, I do not believe in either

So that's zero times..then?  What a shit saint.  I expect a least three church verified aerial circum-ambulations before I accept the sainthood of some random peasant.

On the other note..I agree. True Christians™ have retreated to the dessert, allah hu akbar. Do you accept the prophet Mohamed?

Example:
W=F*S

Unless You know how to decode the equation it does not make sense. You could also insist on the idea that the equation does not make sense.
If You have all the elements You can use the equation.

Well yes, but what does that prove, that some people do not understand an equation?  But in this case all the elements are provable and testable to equate the two is simply silly. The difference being is that you can teach people about how all the elements equate to each other using a formula. Maths is man made, and can be understood and proven by demonstration unlike a series of unprovable supernatural claims.

Quote:If you google it you get the concept of work.

Yes, but how does that help your case. ?

Quote:It's the potential benefit of using information when there is a chance of doing it that counts.

Information though has to be demonstrable, otherwise how can you honestly call it information ?

Information
1) facts provided or learned about something or someone.
2.what is conveyed or represented by a particular arrangement or sequence of things.

Quote:Same here, many variables have to be understood at the same time. If some elements are missing a thing does not make sense.

Of course not, but again how does that help your claim?  If you have information that means that it makes sense it has to be provable, or at least  you should be able to demonstrate it, and have a good reason to believe it's plausible, even to yourself.

Quote:In regards to Satan and hacking a person's mind it does not matter if the hacker is a worm, person, fairy, dog.As long as real threats are being taken into account and real preemptive measures presented everything is fine.

Again this is a faith statement, can you prove a Satan ?
And stop blaming poor old Satan when people disagree with you, poor creature will get a complex.

Bad news, C/L.

It's ok lol. I think most threads eventually end up that way anyway.
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Aye they do. Discussions are like a battle, once the first shot is fired events are out of your control !

One would have thought that god wouldn't care what the government was doing. Why would anyone trust a god that could be hidden by a government conspiracy anyway, the whole thing is laughable.

Yes, as the great Robert Green Ingersoll noted:

Quote:An infinite God ought to be able to protect himself, without going in partnership with State Legislatures. Certainly he ought not so to act that laws become necessary to keep him from being laughed at. No one thinks of protecting Shakespeare from ridicule, by the threat of fine and imprisonment.
RE: What would you do if you found out God existed
Seek to know this God more fully.
In His Grip,
