I'm not sure if we have Stubbs here. We have some good sauces, though.

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I think this one's within the rules, though. Ham and White Bean Soup Ingredients: 1 bag dried navy beans (1 lb) Half pound carrots (about 4 large) sliced 4 celery stalks, sliced 1 yellow onion, diced 4 cloves garlic, minced 1 bay leaf 1 tsp. dried rosemary ½ tsp. dried thyme ½ tsp. smoked paprika Fresh cracked pepper (10-15 cranks) 2 Tbsp. olive oil 7 cups liquid (half water, half chicken or vegetable broth) 2 cups cooked ham, chopped 1 tsp. salt (adjust as you taste) Directions: Rinse beans and set aside. Chop veggies and add to a 6 quart slow cooker. Add spices (except salt), oil and liquid to veggies and cover and cook on low for about 8 hours or until beans are soft but not mushy. Halfway through cooking, add the chopped ham. When soup is done add the salt and serve. I make this over and over. Though it's a slow cooker recipe, it should work on the stovetop over low heat or in a dutch oven as well. Most any dried beans substitute well in place of Navy beans, but if they're not a white bean, the will color the broth.
