If she viewed herself as just another author peddling a book then perhaps she would have been better served by an appearance on QVC. She seems to forget that she has said and done things publoicly for which she can be held accountable at any time and that she wields a fair amount of power within the tea party, which also makes her views subject to scrutiny. If a person is going to say once that he or she wants to be in a leadership position in our government then he or she is always subject to questions of such a nature, in my opinion. It is rather obvious if she is not planning to run for office herself soon then she is at least intent to make waves from the sidelines much the same way as does Sarah Palin. Either way, she's a political entity and her opinions and the legislation she might endorse are our business.

I assumed he wasn't an American journalist on that basis. I didn't think we did that any more.I guess it boils down to what you consider "media". Piers Morgan is a British journalist, but he's working in America for CNN, an American media company. In any case, you can have Piers Morgan; nobody over here likes him RE: Tea Bag'em!

It wouldn't surprise me that we'll take the washouts elsewhere.
