Why keep a vice president around, who was appointed by someone worthy of impeachment?

Look at what this has turned into, and people give me shit for non-participation.  Wink
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I'm really hoping for a Justice Democrats takeover of the party myself.

They would need to gain more seats in the Senate than are even up for grabs.

You're confusing the Senate for the House.  EVERY seat in the House is up for grabs.  We vote for them every two years you might have noticed.

No, I'm not. You need both houses to kick a president out of office. The house impeaches, but that in and of itself is meaningless without the Senate also.

Why? Why not the other major candidate of the rival party? Pence could be worse than Trump, mainly because he won't feel the need to go on a tweet storm, or have propaganda documents delivered to him every day to make himself feel better. But why keep him around at all? Why wouldn't he be promptly impeached as well?

you don't.

Even if they Impeachment process does work they should go after the VP first before the president.

Pence is smarter and more polished, and thus more dangerous. Granted, he's also an idiot. He's about as charismatic as a bowl of oatmeal though.  Trump is charismatic  to certain people, one of the common denominator is that they don't research actual facts about things.

They would want to impeach pence before they impeach Trump it would be a really dumb mistake if they went after Trump first.

Maybe this was a "punt" of sorts made by the GOP during the election. Fearing that, realistically, the orange one might face impeachment, let's put Pence in there to make the libs think twice about their inevitable course of action.

We're talking best case scenario here.  Which means evidence comes to light that Trump and Pence were working with Russia to undermine our election process.  At which point even Senate Republicans would have a hard time NOT impeaching them.  (assuming they aren't just straight up assassinated by someone -- which I wouldn't advocate, only by principle.  I wouldn't shed a tear if it happened though.)
