Analysis of the Bible (Starting from beginning)

RE: Analysis of the Bible (Starting from beginning)
I remember when I started reading the bible from an objective perspective. Suddenly, through critical thinking it became apparent how absolutely absurd and unrealistic the bible was.

Of course, anyone can subjectively read anything with the notion I know this stuff is real and reach a biased conclusion regarding the content.

Genesis 6-10 seem to have problems from my perspective, from sons of God getting married to people on earth to Giants, to other things.

I will skip down to Genesis 11 which seem a little more interesting.  It seems God for a wisdom knew humanity would race in advanced had he not spread them abroad so he did so.

He knew everything they imagined possible they would have achieved but knew it was not the right time.

Then we heathens would quote it and tear it to shreds. Then the next chapter would be posted in three days and the process would repeat. Call the thread "Atheist Bible Study" or something like that. And of course theists like MK, could give their own interpretations and such.

An analysis of Genesis in the manner the OP is performing it might be better received on a Christian forum.

Yes, atheist Bible studies would be heaps more fun and less insulting intellectually than Christian Bible studies.

Is that a problem for a ghost story, really? More or less-so than flying horses?
