The purpose of these forums is first and foremost to allow members to discuss various topics with people who may disagree. The staff believe that the best discussions are those that stay polite and friendly, and it is with this in mind that we implement the following rules.

The staff are aware that any thread may devolve into flaming, either indirect or direct, over time. Staff reserve the right to ban certain members from these threads if they are deemed to be flaming or trolling. Posts which are comprised of mostly insulting language, name calling rather than addressing points, overly negative generalizations of entire groups of people (unless strongly supported by evidence), etc. will be considered as flaming. Posts which are comprised of outrageous misrepresentations of events within the public record will be considered as trolling. Staff reserve the right to close or delete threads which were created for the purposes of flaming or trolling, and not for discussion.

Thread ban durations are decided by staff and may be lifted if the member in question agrees to keep a more level-headed approach to the discussion. Threads that continue to devolve into flaming and/or trolling will be closed.

Repeat violations of the Prime Directive will result in site-wide bans, possibly permanent.

Questioning Sandy hook, 1st strike.

Questioning a direct video where a policeman was in the right and calm 2nd strike and you are out.

Once his thread got deleted he started posting thread after thread of the most stupid and inane stuff like: "Is cereal good with water instead of milk?"

He was ajitating by posting stupid stuff that was "beyond controversy" but still okay to post. He should have been reasonable and mature and just accepted that his conspiracy post was deleted. He stated his disagreement with the decision and was allowed to do so.

He was trolling. That's why he was banned, CL.

Then again, the rationales he gives are so stupid I seriously wondered if he was a troll. His silver bullet was that there was no video of Adam Lanza walking into the school  (at least nothing made public), therefore, the Sandy Hook shooting didn't happen. This has to be the stupidest argument for such denialism I've ever heard. When that's the big claim you make, is there a point in assuming he's legitimate? Honestly, I think the thread should have been locked, but not deleted, just so we could see exactly why he's not welcome. That and so we could see me taking down his bullshit. Well, it's too late for that.

I didn't really follow this guy while I he was here, but there is a certain point where miss just need to keep out the nonsense to make the forum a better functioning and more enjoyable place. I don't want to come here and have countless topics about nonsense. Go to 4chan.

As is well known around here, I often times enjoy the super obnoxious posts and the trolls. Though it crosses the funny line for me when people actually agree with the obnoxious stuff being said, or when it's about something terrible like Sandy Hook or the Holocaust.

Yeah, but there are tons of those anyway. It's not like they are in short supply. If you don't do troll mantience, pretty soon they pile up, and it's most of what you've got.
