Oh, well in that case I have a friend who thinks you're a dipshit. It's not me calling you a dipshit, you understand, I'm only telling you what my friend thinks.
Now are you going to stand by the words you choose to present or disavow them... or shall we stop these ridiculous baby games altogether and start talking like grownups?
You'll have to take that up with my Friend.

It's pretty much a joke at this point, because the more fervently some holyman tells us about their being in possession of "the real gospel" the greater the likelihood that there is a naked man under the podium fellating them as they claim it.
"By obedient faith in Christ," is the test.

Unfortunately, we have neither friend here in this conversation. Since you seem incapable of expressing a view that's your own and not regurgitated from shitty, childish mythology, we're done.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

If I said that you were a fool, you would have loved that, you'd shoot me down in flames.
But I admit that I implied that you were being a fool numerous times.
However, if it makes you really happy, here goes,- "Cyberman you are a fool"
And now I'm in danger of hell fire.

Nope. There is no such thing as "hellfire" and nobody is in danger of an imaginary thing.
Now, according to MK, you are going to burn in hell, but according to you, MK is going to burn in hell. Kindly resolve that.

Even if you failed comprehending the text, the picture of the smiley face should have given you the hint that it was a light-hearted response, designed to be inclusive of the other party and not in opposition.

There are no number of smilies which can cover up the superstitious nonsense. None.

Do you think if you had found a Koran, you would have become a Muslim instead? If your reason for believing the Bible is true is because first you believed in god, and then you read a book that affirmed your beliefs, isn’t that simply confirmation bias? Couldn’t I say that I always believed in Wizards, and then I discovered Harry Potter, therefore Harry Potter is true? Would that be a rational reason for me to believe in the Harry Potter story? What reason is there for someone like me, who’s never had a personal revelation the way you did, to believe a word of the Bible?
The Bible states—
Thats a strange way to begin a reply in a discussion about why you believe the Bible is true. I mean...unless you’re trying to reason in a circle.

My post wasn't a doctrinal discussion, so superstition has nothing to do with it.

It's a reference and starting point.

No, actually. It’s a non-starter and a logical fallacy. Logically speaking, it is fallacious to reference the Bible as evidence or reason for the truth of the Bible. Thanks for playing though. Maybe some day I’ll get an intellectually honest answer to my question, but I’m not holding my breath.
