A priest's life is a wrong one. You don't get to live like a neutered when you are born whole.

A person who is suffering from a sexual disease is not what I mean; and it's obvious.
The target of my post are the priests born healthy without anything wrong with their sexual organs, but being forced to the Church's unholy lifestyle that imprisons the priest, and forces a chastity cage up their complete, healthy sexual organs.

Treating God like a Mayan God of war: giving him priests and priestesses to keep him busy; like a child; while the rest of the "good Christians" wage Crusades, invent torture machines and get drunk on sexual hormones, and at the end of the day confess; to one of God's "neutered servants".

Actually, when you brought up “neutered people,” I thought you were thinking about eunuchs. I remembered a scene from The Last Emperor where Puyi banishes the eunuchs from the Forbidden City and they leave carrying a jar containing their severed parts (kept because of a belief that they should be reunited with their severed parts in the afterlife). In my mind, neutered=/=diseased.

To be fair, eunuchs aren't terribly common today, and when they were, the castration did yield some privilege to compensate for the lack of genitalia (or the attendant bladder incontinence that ended up as a side effect of it, particularly in China, where they took both the penis and testes), and, except for the hijra of India, people who have their genitalia removed for medical reasons, or those rare non-transgender people who decide to have them removed voluntarily, there isn't much point in illuminating this messed-up portion of human history. It's largely a historical curiosity, except perhaps with India's hijras, and I only learned about them while I was writing this post.

Also, Wyrd, your remark about Jews becoming eunuchs is really off-base, since the quote you took specifically forbids eunuchs from being part of the Sanhedrin, and overall, the Jewish tradition does not condone castration.
