This one was it.

I walked out of all movies I ever saw at the cinema.
They don't allow running in the halls.

Since when do you care what "they" allow?

Actually, the only time I saw '2001' at a cinema, it was a very enjoyable experience.  Best nap I've ever had.

I keep my head low, so "they" don't notice me.
It's bad enough that I had two nuclear physicists from Iran and one from Egypt in my car, once.

Everything takes forever to happen.

Can I say I liked the movie, even though they didn't travel to the planet in the book?

The book was a novelization of the screen play. The movie was based on "The Sentinel". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Sentin...ort_story)

Cool.
But I thought that both the movie and novel were written simultaneously https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2001:_A_Sp...ey_(novel)

Not an issue, I think. The novelization of the screen play could have gone apace. The sooner they got it on the book store shelves the quicker they would make a buck or two off it.

Aside: One of my lit profs at Purdue said that to really capture the essence of the movie the book would have to be 1,800 pages, most of them blank.  Tongue
