It now comes in spurs of high activity with several weeks of nothing.

What is your overall outlook on human sexuality and why?

It is a mess.
At its core, it's all about reproduction... but now that there are way too many people on the planet, it's better to keep that part in check, while recognizing that people still enjoy sex very much and are not ever going to give it up for the sake of preventing reproduction from happening.
Of course, contraceptives are available for that task.... but it seems that some very powerful institutions convince people that those devices are against the natural order and must not be used. The result is a very frustrated population that can lash out with little provocation... that or rampant rape.
Luckily, the west has taken to put those contraceptives to good use and most people end up enjoying a healthy sex life without the extras.

Wow, 3 times per day? We had sex 5 times in a 24 hour period right after we got married, but that's the only time its ever happened more than twice. And twice is still pretty rare.

Five times in a day once in my first marriage, early on.  Would have been a frequent occurrence if she'd been game more often.  Once a day seemed like meager pickings back then.  Two or three times a week with the missus lasted a pretty long time.  Now I'm entirely happy with once a week.  If I was doing a new relationship I'm sure the frequency would go up for a while.  Rather than letting it become routine, as with eating, now I enjoy noticing an appetite, savoring the experience and then the satisfaction after

I completely missed out on that part of my human development. Growing up, sex with a disability just felt like a taboo. I have kissed three girls, but this was all when I was 15. 42 now.

Like Jormy, I feel like my fantasy life is quite rich. I do fantasize a lot, and do enjoy fetish websites and such. Especially those that aren't just picture banks, but message boards, where we can all discuss whatever part of sexuality excites us at that moment. Sometimes I feel like I go overboard with it. But maybe it's just me getting my release a different way.

As I get older, I want a relationship less and less. I don't want kids (I can physically have them. I just don't want them). And marriage seems harder to maintain than in previous generations. And I don't want sex outside the confines of a relationship. YMMV. Just a personal thing. I do support how in Canada (Vancouver, at least) there are therapeutic sex providers (I think that's what they are called), who literally help the disabled get off. Again, just not my thing.
