It's amazing the way a character who makes a prediction early in a book can have it come true later in the same book, huh?

The prophecies in the Book of Daniel are astounding explaining entire kingdoms that will come into power in a symbolic way but in a way that is also explained in the same book.  This occurred way in advance of the actual occurrences.  The Bible was written by 40 people over 3500 year time frame and there are many accurate prophecies over hundreds of years.  Remember time travel is possible in this universe and I think that is because God can see all of time as He transcends time.

The US Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution are two of the greatest documents ever written.  Our rights are guaranteed in the Constitution, unlike a Democracy where majority rules and we already discussed the potential problems with that.

A Republic is a form of democracy where representatives are elected. That's pretty much how all democracies work.

True democracies are also majority rule.  We have a constitutional republic which protects specified rights as stated in the Constitution.
