So...mindless things can be intelligent..and can account for "that sort of information" enitirely apart from them having been created by us (or by anything).

Do you even realize that we have been using Intelligent Design (ID) in a number of fields for a long time. For instance, SETI has been searching for radio signals are inteligently designed or that are natural.
