I'll note that the woman who called the police did apologize to the candidate, and for once there's a story about a cop who didn't go ape shit at the sight of an unarmed black woman going about her business. Nevertheless, this obviously never should have happened.

"Without specifying the race of the caller". How many races think it's suspicious enough when a black woman goes door to door, and types on her cellphone afterwards, that they call the police on her?

Also someone saw a 12 year old mowing grass, and called the police? Good lord, that's not the kind of thing that should be discouraged. "Dad, I don't want to mow the grass. Someone might call the cops on me".

Georgia Subway employee calls cops on black family for frequent bathroom trips

A Subway sandwich store employee is being accused of racial profiling after she called 911 and requested police because a black family of seven who stopped to eat were making frequent trips to the bathroom which made her nervous.

The Dobson’s related that the responding police officer apologized to the family after speaking with them — and the family was able to go on their way, but not before stating that they feel the employee should be fired.

At least they didn't shoot anybody.
