I have a single person coffee machine. It makes one single cup of coffee, about a tea cup's worth. It has a plastic re-usable filter and cost me about 20 GBP, although Amazon sell something similar for 15 GBP. I also bought another single cup coffee machine when I lived in Germany and that cost me 10 euros.
I have owned the coffee machine for about 20 years and use it most work days in the morning.
This gives me proper filter coffee without having to make a whole pot, is quick, reliable and leads to no plastic waste.
I've pasted pictures of coffee machines on Amazon that look similar.

I never used it again. It still sits on the counter, because the wife can't bring herself to throw anything out, and if I do, I catch hell for it. We are renting a storage facility for my mother in law's possessions after we moved her in with us. I'm thinking that I'll put it in storage, from which it will "mysteriously" disappear. :nods:
