Our criminal in chief

RE: Our criminal in chief
It looks like the fucker is toast. Even if the current house doesn't act, it will likely be switching to Democratic control next year.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

I sure hope you're right but I'll never again take an election for granted regardless of how likely seeming.   What is needed is an overwhelming blue tide to let the low information losers know this country is not their play thing.

Wouldn’t we still need 2/3’s of the Senate to convict?

I don't know where the Polonium went!

If I were the praying sort....

But since praying is as useful  as wishing on as star, I'm sending in my expat absentee ballot request today.  Apparently I can do that waaay before the midterm election.  I'm not sitting on my hands, even if I am thousands of miles away now.

No damned ethical court lawyer is going to put a finger pointer in front of a judge and have it put on record solely based on their word alone. There is evidence to back up what Cohen said, all be it sealed right now, otherwise they wouldn't have done that.

Its my understanding that he cant be charged while still president and would have to be impeached first.

So what she said is entirely meaningless, BUT will play to the rubes who still support him.

Whether he can be indicted depends on whether he gets Cavanaugh onto the Supreme Court.

My understanding (and I could be wrong) is that this is more of a tradition and not a law.  Technically, lawfully, he CAN be charged/indicted.  That being said, even with a house full of Dems that seems unlikely.  For one thing, they will be thinking, is Pence actually better?  I mean, yes, Pence isn't batshit insane and/or senile.  He won't be tweeting insults at Kim Il Jong II at 3am, but he's still a monster.  He's just got a better disguise than the orange clown.  Dems may wish to put Trump through some long embarrassing impeachment proceedings, but they probably want him to stay "in charge" until the 2020 elections.  Just my guess though.

Yes, it is a traditional protocol, but it is not a law.
