Lust
Gluttony
Greed
Sloth
Wrath
Envy
Pride
what exactly ARE the other options in life????
I will readily sign up for Lust, Gluttony, Sloth, Wrath and Pride. Life would be miserable without a little of all these things!
Envy and Greed can get a little dangerous, so I'll probably steer clear of those, but other than that, the "devil's" got the best shit!

These sins are amazing. In fact, I live by all of them. I'm even more successful than most of the people in my high school who don't live by the sins.
EDIT: although, when greedy or envious, that does result in me trying harder...

Why it is a problem for some? I have no fucking clue.
Better still ... what douche bag decided that sex was a bad thing when even their own god told them to "go forth and multiply" ?!?!
I think the reason why priests have such a hard time keeping their dicks out of children is because they're fighting nature's strongest drive. "The need to seed!"

Also, sex is fun. And sex without lust would be boring.

Because with that very phrase Christians have concluded sex is only for procreation.
Even if the open windows of science at first make us shiver after the cozy indoor warmth of traditional humanizing myths, in the end the fresh air brings vigor, and the great spaces have a splendor of their own - Bertrand Russell

True...
Of course, they're still stupid.

Altrough i'm a atheist i see as deadly sins as everything thats wrong with humanity, of course not in the petty way Christians see it, i see it as more broadening aspects that damage humanity to it's core.

Lust - Good one. It one of the drives that makes us go forward, when we lust after something, we usually do something about it. And yes, the sex part is pretty awesome too
Gluttony - When it leads to mortal obesity, you've gone too far.
Greed - Vital self-defense mechanism, but greed is what I would point out that is wrong with the world today. Remember, sharing is caring
Sloth - Cutest animal ever! One of my teachers said something fun about this: "You can be lazy, but not stupid".
Wrath - Why be angry when you can be happy instead? Hate consumes people and leaves them bitter.
Envy - Be content with what you have and with who you are. And if you're envious of something someone possesses, well, just go and buy it then!
Pride - If you've done something good, you should be proud of yourself (or be proud of others). Pride and vanity are not the same.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Not quite. You may have some definitions wrong.
Lust: awesome. Doesn't require much explanation. It even leads to progress, but must be used with intelligence to avoid unwanted reproduction.
Gluttony: Fits with natural selection: once you acquire so much that it's negative, you suffer the negative effects. It's self-correcting, and requires intelligence to be used positively.
Greed: It is indeed a vital self-defense mechanism. The excessively generous suffer because of their own ill-advised acts.
Sloth: Like Gluttony, is self-correcting. It's not negative unless used in a way that damages yourself. It requires intelligence to be used positively.
Wrath: Hatred can be a powerful tool, assuming they did something to deserve the hate. It relies on intelligence to be used positively.
Envy: Leads to progress, hard work, and balances Sloth. It requires intelligence to be used positively.
Pride: The reward for performing exceptionally, or the downfall of those who do not deserve it. Great, either way.
