I started kind of back on my diet today. I think the basement demolition around here will help me keep the weight off too.
Totally agree. Booze is a diuretic. You get dehydrated, then the body overcompensates by hanging onto fluid.

Official weigh-in this morning was 282 vs 301 on 8/2.
Met my loss goal, now I just have to remain under 286 at my next (last) appointment before my final consultation with the surgeon on 11/7.
Cleared by cardiology and nutrition, and met with the staff psychologist. I'll see her one more time on 11/7.
All I have to do - other than not gain weight - is get letters of support from both of my MH providers. Both are on board so no issues there.

Wow, that's amazing! Not that she might disappear, of course. My best friend lost weight so fast, it was like her face morphed into a different person.

I'm training for a 10k (link in my sig for more) and have been on a diet/training regime for some time now.
Only problem is I've taken a few weeks off due to injury, and then last week went on holiday. the holiday itself was awesome, but involved A LOT of drinking. Back at it today [2 miles during my lunch hour] so hopefully this will burn off. I should be at a Brazilian Ju Jitsu class tonight as well, so hoping to drop down in weight a fair amount.
For context, prior to all this training, I was topping out at 207lbs, and managed to get down to 189. Think I'm floating around 196-200 right now, so need to get back on it before I get out of shape again.

Pray for me for I have not mounted a scale or gone to a gym for more than a week now and have eaten breakfast at Big Bear diners three times in that interval. (There is a reason that bear is so big.) We went to dinner last night at the Oregon Garden resort's restaurant. We split the seafood linguine and a seasonal salad before also splitting the (fucking huge) brownie with ice cream and caramel sauce. I could barely move afterwords. I sure would like to be near 190 by the time I get home. I may faint if I'm over 200.
