I Voted today.

RE: I Voted today.
I've never voted in a mid-term before but I sure as well will be this time.

The Repugnican party of the US has become such a force of decay and idiocy. I used to hate them because they were the party of the religious right but now they have become something much worse. They are the party of ignorance. They are a party of science-deniers, conspiracy-theorists, sexists and racists. They are enemies of humanity. Rather than advance us to the stars, these fools would have us regress to the stone age.

It is now to the point where I will vote against a mosquito-control officer just because they are a Repugnican. Anyone who embraces that misguided philosophy of evil, ignorance and stupidity will be opposed by me.

I'm not particularly enamored with the Democratic party of the US but at this point, I would vote for the town drunk over ANY Repugnican for ANY position.

Repugnicans are unintelligent animals.
Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

I know where you live. I do, planet earth.

You're not afraid my vote(s) will cancel yours out?  hehehehe

I will admit, on the national level, I won't be considered a good republican this election. Local is a different story.

PA doesn't allow early voting, but I will be doing my civic duty today.

Not liking the orange turd is not enough.

If 36 years of Reagan's failed trickle down economics worked, nobody would be complaining. Your party is doing the same bullshit that lead to the Bush Jr crash. Nope, sorry, billionaires are not going to end up eating cat food, do not expect me to feel sorry for them.

If you look at the average power post WW2 to 1980 between the parties, and you look at the tax code in that same time, you can see that the rich were not hurting, our investment was high, we had unions, and that built our middle class. But since Reagan started deregulation and "let billionaires use you as a tool" the pay gap has exploded.

I do hope you realize that most of Wall Street stocks are owned by mostly the top 1% and workers do not benefit from that. When the GOP does throw crumbs at gullible people like you, you think a short term boom is the shit. Problem is these assholes let billionaires borrow from the future and have added this time 1.3 TRILLION DOLLARS of tax breaks, now who the fuck do you think eventually has to make up for that? If your mantra is don't tax the rich, then logic dictates they wont fucking pay shit.

If you want real independence for more in every zip code, the cheapest way that will get government off the backs of businesses would be TO DO THE RIGHT THING IN THE FIRST PLACE, in livable wages that meet the cost of living, heath care that does not bankrupt anyone, education that does not bankrupt anyone.

^^^^^^^^ None of that is a call to become Stalin's Russia or Castro's Cuba. It is not a call to end the private sector either. It is simply telling you you got it wrong and you bought a lie.

Yes I am cussing, but as a general statement to all the GOP'S gullible supporters. Not just you. We do have the facts, we do know what works and what does not. The only thing GOP economics benefits are those who are not hurting and are not going to help the rural poor, rural farmers, or suburbans or urbans.

The private sector IS NOT going to implode if those at the top pay more in taxes. The private sector is not going to implode if we care about health care and  wages instead of billionaires. I am tired of their corporate blackmail. It is bullshit. The economy being based on short term gains the way the GOP fools you with is alot like a frat guy at a keg party. They get drunk of their asses short term, don't realize it is the crappiest cheap beer, end up with a raging hangover then they blame everyone else for the crappy keg they sold you.

If you don't vote, as the cliche goes, you have no right to complain about the results.

If you don't vote you're part of the problem. Mad

I am basing it on your prior comment about your vote canceling mine out.

Sorry, but nationally and historically since Reagan, the truth remains. If you vote for the GOP you are voting against your own self interests and you are allowing one class to dictate to you. And again, this isn't just about you, my response is to all GOP supporters.

If GOP economic polices worked, nobody in any zip code would be bitching. The only thing GOP polices do is make CEOs and Wall Street investors richer. They do not help red states or blue states, city or rural workers.

Nobody is falsely playing victim except the orange turd and billiionaires.
