My preference is not to argue, but you don't always get you want in life, and I don't get a special exception. Sometimes it's not just "one or the other" but rather dealing with things as they come. That still does not address the fact that you clearly still care enough to continue and respond .
And this matters to you why?
If a bee is buzzing around your head, you react accordingly, which may include watching it, moving away, or even swatting it. Each serve their purpose.

Which means you still care about the bee

Depends how you define "care." No tears from me if it gets swatted or sucked up in a vacuum cleaner. But if the bee is still there bothering me, it probably cares more than I do.

But the fact remains you respond to it's presence and willfully take some action . The action of the bee is neither here nor there .

Sometimes you humor the bee because it desperately wants attention. Many bees are drones, so maybe its mind is being controlled and it is forcefully being made helpless due to its nature.

Hmmm... I perchance understand you wishing to maybe humour Amarok.
I'd just like to point out that Bee biology doesn't work that way.
Bee Drones have a definite function within a hive.
Namely, at the right time of year, the fitest/luckiest Drone gets to engage with a nascent Queen to enjoy in the comunal "Rubbing them selves in a very special adult way." with the specific aim of helping to make more bees.
They aren't.... Or shouldn't..... to be confused with the remote control toy.

They're still a bunch of puppets. 1 out of a 1000 may get lucky, while the rest are forced to procreate with one of their sisters. But don't get me wrong, I like bees. When the weather is nice, they buzz around my marigolds and pollinate them. But they are good bees and don't go out of their way to bother me.

Even humor fits my definition as i said it does not matter about the nature of the bee your still choosing to respond

One of the most efficient ways to trap a problematic wolf is to cause it to use its own nature against itself. It's not that you want to have to trap and slay the wolf, but it is persistent to the point that it becomes the best solution. Luckily its nature is so predictable that the trap is all but guaranteed when it encounters it. It may take a day or two until it finds the trap, but when it does, it's a sure thing.
