That's not what the article you linked said. It said,

While I find an increase hard to believe, a well-designed suppressor shouldn't have a lot of impact on accuracy. Most of them I've tried cause a slight shift in point of impact, but don't open up the groups much.
I just finished building this one last week.
We put it on a bolt action 22 LR using match (subsonic) ammo, and it made less noise than most pellet guns. On a 14.5" 5.56 AR it brought the noise level down to doesn't make your ears bleed. We weren't shooting from a bench so I can't tell you exactly how it affected group size, but we didn't notice any difference in accuracy with the suppressor.
