Are we strictly talking about home games? Because Tempest was the one video arcade game I got good at.

The only rule is there are no other rules. I think Tempest was on Atari as well. I remember as I kid, they had the arcade machine at the roller rink. Then they had the machines in the middle of the local mall, and you had all the "bad a$$" gamers playing games like Tempest. Those were the days. Would shake down my parents for a quarter or two to play Qbert.
1. Okami
2. Super Mario Galaxy 3. Minecraft 4. Zelda: BoTW 5. Torn between Choplifter II and Super Mario Land, my first two games ever.

Hi Bob.
Kinda surprised Missile Command hasn't come up.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.
Tetris and Silent Scope for back in the day.
Skyrim, Fallout and Witcher now. I think. There's so many, though.
1. Half Life.
2. Pirates of the Burning Sea 3. D2LOD. 4. Eve Online 5. Minecraft
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

I used to visit in the evening - and mom would be downstairs playing Tetris on the " grandkids" console - and dad would be upstairs watching TV with a confused look on his face.
I'm starting to think that tetris was everybody's mom's game. No shit.

She NEVER lost at Monopoly. You could have two sides of the board covered in houses and hotels - and if there only roll that would save her was an 11 - she would roll it every time. Every time. no exaggeration. (December 29, 2018 at 1:33 am)Shell B Wrote: Tetris and Silent Scope for back in the day. I think I remember Silent Scope. Isn't that an older submarine game? Tetris is a decent game. Remember playing that when the Gameboy was a thing. There's a similar game called Baku Baku Animal that I really like that's similar to Tetris with the board layout, but you match animals and their food with a cute little story that goes along with it. Skyrim and Witcher games are fantastic too. Tried to get into Fallout 4, but it didn't pull me in. However I did like the robot butler with the dainty accent. |
