Here is a thread for things you have just dicovered, found out, or where you can just make shit up.

I'll start.

Things I have recently discovered:

1. Nuns do not explode on their own.
2 . Accelerant and matches do not make people run faster.
3. Babies and small children are not good speed bumps when driving a steamroller.

Schrödinger was wrong.  He said that if you shut a cat up in a box, it can only exist in two states - alive or dead.  I have discovered that there is a third state:  'bloody furious'.

In a serious related note, my late friend Bob made the objection to Shrodinger, that in his estimation, the problem with that thought experiment is that Shrodinger never took into account the point of view of the cat itself. Being outside the box, yea, since you can see it, but the cat itself is in the box perceiving it's own point of view.
