Oh, shut up Drich. Go blame some more children for horrific things they couldn’t possibly be responsible before. I am consistent look at every instance where I elaborate and defend my point.
I simply made an open statement allowing each of you according to your own character fill in the blank so to speak meaning to fill in the narrative for yourself. For example you want to see the worst in me so you assigned me the worst possible interpretation. Other options would have been to react as your peers have. asking question as to what I meant or to defend how it is i saw to blame them... when I revealed my meaning they for the most part understood and took my word.
Oh, so you speak in riddles and I’m tasked with trying figure out what the hell you actually mean? You’re not my mentor, Drich, and that’s not how two adults have a rational discussion. I responded to explicitly clear text that you typed. The fact that you chose to use inflammatory language for the purpose of getting a rise out of people is not my responsibility, it’s yours, and I have every right and obligation to respond to the exact words that were quoted, whether you meant them or not. You’re not my damn sensei. Say what you mean, or STFU. And, bear in mind that saying things you don’t actually mean just to rile folks up constitutes trolling behavior around these parts.

Kind of funny how you keep intimating that people who want better gun regulations are somehow afraid. We're not the ones so wallowing in fear that we're terrified to leave our homes without being armed.
I don't carry guns, I don't own guns, and I wouldn't allow a gun in my home. Yet - somehow - I manage to sleep on nice, dry sheets. Pretty sure my fear index is lower than yours.

You' ll be that way right up til the moment when some jacked up asshole decides to kick down your front door and destroy shit.
Then you will find yourself woefully unprepared for the simple undeniable fact that the world can be a dangerous place.
Feel free to be deluded otherwise.

You make the mistake of thinking I've never faced violence before.
You make the mistake of thinking that not having a gun is the same as being unprepared.
You make the mistake of thinking that having a gun makes you brave.
You make a lot of mistakes.

My father is an NRA loving, gun toting, “we don’t call 911”, “I’m gonna protect my family”, type of guy. He keeps a loaded pistol in his and my mom’s house for “protection”. Two summers ago, the family and I were out visiting. That weekend happened to be the weekend that my two year old learned how to climb out of the crib. I’ll never forget walking into the kitchen to tell my parents that Christopher had gotten out of the crib that morining and my dad saying, “whoa, I better get that gun out out of dresser drawer.” Guns don’t automatically equal safety. My son could have been killed that weekend in the name of “protecting the family”. It still makes me sick to think about it.

If you're so unafraid - why are you calling for more regulation?
Because you' re such a tough guy?
Sure - THAT makes sense.
How exactly are you prepared? You got stern words for an assailant?

1. I call for more regulation so people like you don't have to live in fear.
2. Reasonably tough, yes.
3. It's been my experience that if you shatter a man's knee, he loses interest pretty quickly.

People like me...
My my.... What an insightful person you are. You know ALL about me - and by nothing more than the fact that I favor gun rights.
How exactly are you planning to shatter someone' s knee? Do you know how much force that takes? Have you ever broke someone' s knee - or had your' s broken?
I have had mine broken. I know what' s involved. I seriously doubt I could break someone' s knee without a large hamner and a victim who was willing to stand still.
I guess I' m not the badass you are.
I' ll have to stick to guns.
