Except for the fact that they have shown that, with years of training, orangutans can actually convey thoughts.

Statler, Jesus, as you know Jesus, never existed. If someone in my town was walking around, raising corpses and healing lepers I might mention it on my diary as that is clearly abnormal. No one said anything for almost a fucking century. No correspondence between historians on what would have been fucking historical. Nothing. If Jesus existed, he was just some goddamn nobody that no one deemed important enough to mention until the church made him into a superhero. That is the myth, magic jesus who heals blind people never existed ed.

Instead we are left with a host of deities who were violent, narcissistic, vengeful bullies who reflected our own values. Our gods could have been anything we could imagine, and all we were capable of manifesting were gods who shared the worst of our natures."-Me

The magical jesus is obviously a myth.

But I still feel that there might've been some david koresh type charismatic wacko that it is based on.

If you watch interviews with branch davidian members they believe that the evil cult leader was divine and that his killing by the 'man' was validation for their beliefs.

Imagine if this had happened in a more primitive era with these blank eyed believers going around spouting this sort of crap, couldnt christianity be the end result?

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

Tinkety Tonk and down with the Nazis.

I think he would have suited Roger.... Roger Clump. That is his new name.

The gospel of Roger Clump will catch on. But, for Clump's sake, don't take it all literally.

I'm sure there were several sons of carpenters named Jesus. I don't have a problem with that, I have a problem with claims of him being a demigod who walked on water.

Quote:No one can prove to you God exists because sin seperates mankind from God,

Actually, no one can prove your god ( or any of the others ) exists because there is no fucking evidence.

I suspect that what you are separated from is reality.
