One of our regular customers was a company that made pet food. We did EDM work on the extrusion plates for forming dog food. They had various shapes - as it turns out based on the owners expectation - not the pet'. I pointed it out to the customer if they really wanted to make dog food a dog would like - it should look and taste like a turd.
re: dog food: I have had at least dogs who would eat ANYTHING you handed them or that dropped on the floor, even pickles. But they had one thing in common. They wouldn't TOUCH bagged pretzels----the king's favorite. Seriously, what does this say about pretzel sticks?
