The Area 51 flights were made to distract people from the development of the Wobblin' Goblin.
I live near Lambert Field, the airport for St. Louis. We're not far from Belleville, IL., where the first "triangular UFO" was spotted. One night I saw a triangular UFO myself, that was apparently just hovering up there.. BUT I waited a bit and it resolved into an airplane coming in for a landing. I was under the flight path for Lambert.
However, none of that has anything to do with the likelihood of aliens existing elsewhere. Your diss of SETI is founded on appalling ignorance. Would you be a Baptist by any chance?

No, not a Baptist. I am a non-denominational Bible believing Christian. That's how I would best describe my religion. I was once a Catholic and studied with SDA before.
