No, I'm not making an exemption for anyone. Did you read what I said?

Also, this thread was on another forum? And Amarok haughtily tells me "its not hard to find" and to figure it out. Lmao. What a clown.

It was on AD (i accidentally wrote AF in my first post  Blush  )
Well, i guess it is easy to find there, other than that i would prefer not to get in between the lines of rob-haters and rob-lovers.

Nevertheless you wrote:

...and Rob clearly entertains such garbage. Imho there is not much room for interpretation.

Imho he did something incredibly stupid, and there is no excuse for it, thats all.

Keep telling y’all that white supremacist propaganda isn’t aimed at the goobers anymore, lol.......

They already have the goobers, they’re poaching your friends now. Especially your skeptic friends. The skeptic YouTube community became a full on alt right propaganda mill years ago. It was obviously a good play.

Yeah. I noticed that too. Is the YouTube skeptic scene even a scene of skeptics? It seems like they are magicians. They use misdirection. They want you to believe them.

Call me old fashioned, but shouldn't skeptics be questioning beliefs rather than advancing them?

Also... and maybe I'm just way wrong about this. But it seems like they hold free speech up as some kind of golden calf. But most of their bitching and moaning is centered around others on YouTube who speak against their views. But that's what free speech is, dumbasses. You like to think you are protecting free speech from the SJWs... but in fact, you are a bunch of pussies who can't handle it when the "SJW's" exercise their right to free speech.

Sorry if I'm getting off on a YouTube skeptic tangent here. But this shit pisses me off.

Free speech is not being criminalized. Any of us can say whatever the fuck we want. But the YouTube skeptics are being alarmists. Sargon got banned from Twitter? Holy shit! The SJWs are winning.

No, dumbass. Anyone who gives any kind of shit about Twitter is losing. If Twitter bans someone and you care about it... I hate to break it to you, but you are a dumbass because you care about Twitter. Maybe you are not innately a dumbass or anything. Maybe you could stop posting on Twitter for a week or two and would (by the laws of nature) cease to be a dumbass.

But I've heard enough of whiny little bitches who can't stand that their fascist apologists "get banned" from social media. These "skeptics" might want to take a break from whining like little bitches and realize that nobody is making them participate in Twitter but themselves. Skeptics ought to ask questions, not endorse ideologies.

(Sorry for the tangent but I had to get it off my chest.)

It's proof, in case we needed any, that overall, atheists are no more reasonable than any other group. They choose their beliefs based on the same sorts of bad reasons as anybody else.

I don't understand anti-semitism at all. The only explanation I can come up with is that it comes from Christians thinking that Jews killed Jesus. But that still baffles me.

And, because I identify as an atheist (because I don't believe in any gods) I ALSO "choose" my beliefs based on the same bad reasonsons as everybody else.

I like to think that Socrates said something valuable when he said, "The only thing I know is that I know nothing." But I guess I'm "choosing" that belief just as poorly as every other atheist schmuck who "chooses" a bunch of erroneous beliefs.

Hey, Belaqua! Do you think there are some of us who try to discern what is true, rather than "choosing" our beliefs? I mean. Sure. Many people "choose" their beliefs. But what about those of us who try very hard not to believe what we'd like to believe and make special efforts to figure out what is actually true?

Overall, atheists may not be any more reasonable than other groups. But that doesn't have anything to do with their atheism. It has everything to do with their "group-ness."

Right, it has to do with all of us being human. We are all capable of thinking we are being reasonable when we aren't.

And group-ness helps unreasonableness a lot. Mutual reinforcement. None of us is immune.

Absolutely. And this is very true of atheists on atheist forums. It might even be true of theists if (for sake of example) theists got together on a certain day of the week in moldy buildings and pronounced --by fiat-- that they recognized a truth that others didn't. Not that theists would ever do that or anything... but even if theists DID do that sort of thing on a weekly basis, you could be assured that they would be careful to recognize that there are a plurality of beliefs to be considered.

Atheists brashly assert materialistic philosophy as if it was the most plausible of all metaphysical theories. How narrow-minded of them!

Theists, on the other hand, would never be so narrow-minded. Atheists like to think that a great number of theists think that atheists deserve to burn and suffer for eternity just because they doubt the existence of their god. But no theist thinks that. Not a single one. And certainly not thousands and thousands of them.

That would be a weird thing for a group of people to communally believe, wouldn't it? But you got me thinking, Belaqua. I don't ever seem to have heard a single atheist say something like "theists should burn and suffer for eternity because they don't agree with me." Have you ever heard a single atheist say anything like that? I agree. Atheists can be quite opinionated at times. But I don't think I've ever heard a single atheist say that theists deserve to burn and suffer for eternity. Funny, huh?

Maybe I'm just not paying close enough attention.

Bump. Answer the question.
