My mind just astral travelled into the future and you are indeed correct!

Quote:This causes massless particles that travel at the speed of light to be unaffected by the passage of time.

The mind can move fast.

So going by this special relativity can the mind stop time?

I'm not sure what one has to do with the other.  The mind is the chemical and electrical processes of the brain.  These reactions are not carried out by massless particles.

This seems like yet another desperate cry for us to have superpowers.  Ain't gonna happen.

I'm gonna need a whole bag-o-shrooms for this one.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

There was a test done, people falling from a high place (like a bungee jump) often say they feel time slows down as they fall. When tested they were asked to look at a small electronic display showning numbers which changed just too fast for the eye to read the numbers. If time slowed down for the faller, they should have been able to read the numbers, but this didn't occur. The sense of time slowing is just an illusion

I have a really...really vivid memory from something like that. Time slowed down so much on a jump...that for a second I wondered if I somehow gained the power of levitation, lol. It didn't seem like I was even falling.

Short lived, about as soon as I could put my finger on it I noticed that I was hurtling toward the ground, lol. Like my brain snapped me out of it "shut up with that fantasy shit, scrub, you're in trouble! What are we gonna do about this?"
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Y'all know the effect that when you first look at a clock or watch, it sometimes seems to take longer for the hand to move for the first time, but subsequent intervals are normal again?
It's an actual neurological/psychological effect that has been studied.

I do know our existence can expand into another dimension.
I think Shamans using drugs to go to the "spirit world" is a variation of the method I discovered myself without the use of drugs. I'm trying to think about how time works there because I don't know. Lets keep the woo out of it for the moment and stick to the science.

Time is a really interesting subject how it is not a constant rate. I remember hearing time slows as speed increases and can actually stop reaching the speed of light. That is what the science says.

So sense of time and physical time can change. That's amazing.

I don't want to waste anyones time here.
If anyone here would seriously like to hear my method to go to another dimension I will share it. It would be interesting if someone wants to try it and report what they see and what experiences they have. For science.
