Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas
It's the time of year that Christians come together to celebrate the birth of Jesus and that's just what we should focus on. For non-believers it's anything but that and frankly why you all celebrate at this time of year puzzles me because it seems a contradiction to your non-belief. I guess parties are the fun thing and getting gifts and so on and so forth, but in reality you have passed up on the greatest gift one can receive and He is the reason for the real celebration. It would be a great thing if this Christmas day you would take just a few minutes to think about the reality of Jesus the Son of God, what can it hurt, really what have you to lose since you have gained nothing in an eternal way. You haven't had to do one thing to be in the position you are now and you only have to believe through faith to change that non-action. With that said I'm wishing all here a very Merry Christmas stay safe and remember to give a little love to those who need it, God bless everyone. No need to respond to this thread because it wasn't posted for that reason and I will not return to answer any post from this particular thread. Once again Merry Christmas to all!

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

RE: Merry Christmas
No evidence for any gods, Christmas is just a take over of a pre existing pagan mid winter festival.

RE: Merry Christmas
We don’t agree on the reason, but we can share and appreciate the sentiment.

Merry Christmas all.

What a nice way to include Pascal's Idiotic Wager in a Christmas message.

Have a nice Chistmas, GC.  I hope all of your friends re-gift you last year's fruitcake.

RE: Merry Christmas
So your "virgin" wife says god got her pregnant but three strangers show up with gifts for the baby?

I remember Xmas as the day a woman experienced the first penis in her vagina, belonging to her son.
