Been a Godzilla fan since I was a kid (I'm 26 now). KoTM made me feel like a kid all over again. The entire movie in the theater my heart was racing with joy. Godzilla is finally going main stream. I know for me liking Godzilla growing up everyone thought I was weird. And yes, I collect Godzilla figures to this day.

"Gojira" and "Godzilla: King of Monsters". Both on Amazon. You'll want "Godzilla Raids Again" for the lulz. Second Gojira movie, introduced the idea of the monsterverse by adding Anguirus to the mix. Poor Kyoto gets handled roughly. (Prob. allegory for that city being taken off the atomic bomb target list?)
