Been a Godzilla fan since I was a kid (I'm 26 now). KoTM made me feel like a kid all over again. The entire movie in the theater my heart was racing with joy. Godzilla is finally going main stream. I know for me liking Godzilla growing up everyone thought I was weird. And yes, I collect Godzilla figures to this day.

But I cannot find the for the life of me hard copies of either 1954 or the American remake. RE: Movie Trailer heads up thread.

"Gojira" and "Godzilla: King of Monsters". Both on Amazon. You'll want "Godzilla Raids Again" for the lulz. Second Gojira movie, introduced the idea of the monsterverse by adding Anguirus to the mix. Poor Kyoto gets handled roughly. (Prob. allegory for that city being taken off the atomic bomb target list?)
Oh, and don't get the dubbed version of "GRA", the translators took liberties with the plot. RE: Movie Trailer heads up thread.

A documentary about a guy who was a religious leader, and yet was a very pleasant man who never raped anyone, nor was involved in the cover-up of rape by his colleagues
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"
Goatee = Mark of Satan.

It's a movie about Catholics and their stupid problems caused by the abusive imaginary relationship that they have with Jesus
