I used to make sure I wasn't home between the time that dad got home from work and when he went to sleep.
I could hear his snoring from down the side of the house.
Then mum would have dinner waiting for me when I snuck back in.
Cause if he found something you'd done wrong, he wouldn't let you know about it until you were in a corner and unable to escape.
Best to stay away altogether. :-)
