Agreed, if Summers in hell wearing a bikini just go ahead and book me for a one way trip.
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!
This is what it comes down to. It doesn't matter if there is free will in heaven or no. The only people, in their heads, who will be there, are the ones who choose all of the bullshit they've been listing. It feels like free will to them. Those who don't hold to those values mean nothing and will spend eternity in hell. We could choose to exercise our free will to embrace their values, or keep on being slavish to our own 'other' choices.
I've got a few requests of all of you handsome heathens for while we're down there. Satan's setting me up with quite the palace.

So abortions are ok then?
Since as you just stated god allows no one to die before their time then an abortion only happens because god decided it should.
If you're not supposed to ride faster than your guardian angel can fly then mine had better get a bloody SR-71.

If I don't get to fuck in heaven, for example, perhaps god shouldn't have hard wired me to enjoy fucking. Maybe he should have never created a woman for Adam spiralling this whole thing out to begin with.
What He creates is a perfect world with no evil and unlimited creative possibilities, which go on forever without getting old. Sounds pretty good to me. I think for any trivial earthly pleasure, there will be many Heavenly substitutes which far exceed it in every discernable way. I am not concerned about what I might lose but everything which is to gain. Your problem is that your imagination hits sex and turns itself off.

That you're speaking directly out of your ass with no evidence for god, heaven, or any of the rest is bad enough. To just push through everything and turn god into empty version of your own prejudices and remorse about whatever happened in your life is ridiculous. You want to be a drone, I'm sure theres a room in heaven for that. Meanwhile, one would hope that god has a contigency plan for those that do not wish to do so.
When you become a Christian, not only do you become a new creation, and receive a new spirit, but God adopts you as His own child. That's the nature of Gods relationship to His church; that of a Father to His children. We're not drones, we're His kids. The Kingdom of Heaven is a family, and its primary tenants are love and unity. God is worthy of all praise, and His plan is perfect. No one is going to be bored, or feel obligated to do anything..there will be joy in Heaven beyond compare. Being in the creative center of existence with the Creator Himself is something beyond our limited imaginations.

It's not an us vs. them thing. There is no reason I deserve to go anymore than you do.

Heavenly ghostcock for the ladies, ten times bigger and wider (and not uncomfortable at all to accomdate) perhaps? You don't realize that you're clkaiming heaven to be filled with the things YOU like and devoid of the things that others like, do you. That's your heaven Lucent. Not mine, and presumably god can do better.
I'd like to see you quantify all the new shit you feel you've recieved. I think you have the same old shit. The same petty and transparent human bias and failings. Who do you think can back his theory up with verifiable evidence in this little disagreement? Apparently btw, this isn't beyond your limited imagination, because you've spent time imagining it and describing it to us in detail in the absence of any actual evidence or information regarding the place itself, or that it even exists.

Darling, spell hypocrisy correctly and I will take you more seriously.
Salty, while I will not say you are going without being insulted, I will say that you are inflating it and putting on the righteous defense face. This, coming from the woman who derailed a thread by sending veiled threats to alei, correct? You are the first person in this forum that I have ever had to give a verbal warning regarding physical threats to. Think about it before you continue with your charade.
That being said, get this long-winded thread back on topic you bunch of meatballs. ElD, you may look edible in a suit, but stop baiting Salty into saying you are going to hell. If you bait her, I will not warn her.
Thanks for your thoughts on the matter. You make some good points.
I will reiterate that I do have a presence in person and some people find me intense, especially my eyes. Not because I'll harm anyone, but because I'm so serious about discussions.
Really, I'd like for people to stop hiding behind the anonymity of the internet and come out and speak these things in person because there's a whole level of discussion that is taken away from us by having to just post things on here. We can't see each other's expressions, we can't hear each others voices, we can't reason with eachother. I can't stress enough that people are different in person, you and me both.
Many people also have this idea that if you don't like someone online you won't like them in person, that's ridiculous. No matter how unkind people have been here on this forum to me I'd drop everything I'm doing to meet any of you, it's just really different to connect a real person to a name. If you're ever in Washington DC, let me know. I'd like to meet you.

Taking life isn't okay. You could say that about murders, or anything else, but just because God allows for something to happen, doesn't mean it was approved by Him. The point is, nothing does happen unless He allows it, and that because of free will.

It's a simple question.

Salty, I'll call you a bigot to your face any day you like. I'll call BS on your superstitions to your face any day you like. Your presence would not cause me to change my opinions, or the way in which I convey them. Your eyes wouldn't intimidate or feel intense to me at all. I'd be willing to wager that they I would find them vacant and entirely benign. I wouldn't like you in person, as I mentioned very very early on in our dealings, and you have reenforced this with a good 90% of your posts. I cannot stand people who hold the beliefs you hold. I cannot stand people who trot out fairy tales and call them facts. Nothing about your presence or person will change this.

No, you specifically stated god decides the time.
So he decides when it is time to pull your cork.
So abortions according to you are ok because they're gods decisions.
