I watch Dr. Pol now and then too.  It's pretty decent.  I enjoy those shows since I grew up with a father who was a veterinarian and saw a lot of the things the TV vets do...I am not interested in the ones in a sterile, high-tech office.  I relate more to the vets stomping through ankle deep manure to try to get a cow up with a set of hip clamps hooked to the barn rafters.
I love the vets at the Zoo reality shows. There's an American vet who was in tears as she worked triage during the Australian bush fires. None of them are there for the Maseratis.
