Both her and Trump need to sit down, shut up - let the legislature make the laws and then sign them - unless they really think something is a horrible idea. If they are wrong - the legislature can override the veto.....

Yeah, imma go with OLB on this one.
I looked some stuff up (I do that when I don’t know things) and while Whitmer has the legal authority to issue executive orders, she is also required to submit those orders which have the force of law to the state legislature for approval. She failed to do so, which is why the courts vacated the order. Where it got sticky was that her executive order mandated a $500 fine and a misdemeanor charge.
Is it a good idea to wear a mask? Yup. Did Whitmer break the law with her executive order to do so? Yup.

Do what you will . But she did the legislature was to slow to do, And it's not just a good idea it's critical at slowing down the pandemic . Whether the court agrees or not she did the right thing . This is nothing like Trump who lords his power because a narcissistic moron.

I wasn’t speaking to her motivations - I think she did the right thing. Unfortunately, the right thing is not always the legal thing.
